[News] Wonder Girls' Sunye to make guest appearance at Park Jin Young's concert
Wonder Girls' member Sunye, who is currently tour in Asia, will make a special guest appearance at singer Park Jin-young's concert this week.
A PR official from JYP Entertainment (JYPE) told 10Asia over the phone that Sun will join their agency's famed producer for the first stop of his solo concert titled "Park Jin-young Bad Party - The Dancer" to be held at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South Korea.
The quintet has been busy with their Asia tour with a performance in Hong Kong last week. They will continue to several other countries including Taiwan and Thailand.
Composed of other members Yenny, Sohee, Lim and Yubin, Wonder Girls, discovered and trained by top Korean agency JYP Entertainment, made their debut in 2007 and quickly became one of the biggest names in the Korean music scene with their hits "Tell Me," "So Hot" and "Nobody."
They are well-known in neighboring Asian countries after holding several promotional events in Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Singapore in mid-June and made a name for themselves in the U.S. pop market last year, opening for the famous Jonas Brothers and releasing their debut single "Nobody," as well as kicking off a 27-stop tour in North America this summer.
The girls will take the stage in Korea for their first-ever joint concert titled "TEAMPLAY" on December 24 with labelmates 2PM, JOO, San E and miss A.
